After posting a dramatic comeback win in the last meeting, the top-seeded New York Rangers will try to finish off the Washington Capitals tonight in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
This best-of-seven series between the Rangers and Capitals was tied at 2-2
heading into Mondays Game 5 in New York. It appeared as though Washington
would gain the 3-2 advantage in this series entering the closing seconds of
regulation, but the Rangers pulled out an improbable victory in the pivotal
contest.
The seventh-seeded Capitals led Game 5 by a 2-1 score when a double-minor
penalty was assessed to Washingtons Joel Ward after he caught New Yorks...

GREENBURGH, NY — With Baron Davis out, Mike Bibby will get the start in Game 5 on Wednesday night.
Bibbys strength in the series so far has been his clutch 3-point shooting, especially in Game 4. With 1:08 left in the third quarter, he put the Knicks ahead 62-58, and with 1:23 remaining in the fourth, he put the team up 84-81.
In fact, scouts describe the 33-year-old as more of a glorified shooting guard at this later stage in his 14-year career. Hes not fast enough to consistently blow by anyone and, therefore, doesnt put much pressure on the defense, especially in this series because hell be mostly asked to bring the ball up the court efficiently, which he will, and then...

Somehow, the sensation of scraping their way into the playoffs was greater than the shame of the sweep. And when the Jazz walked off the court Monday night, they kept their heads held high.
Down by 21 points in the fourth quarter, Utah salvaged a bit of dignity with one final run at the San Antonio Spurs, only to come up short — 87-81 — in Game 4 of its Western Conference playoff series.

We live in a world marked by its gradual shift toward equality. From absolute monarchs deriving their power through the divine right theory of kingship to the Declaration of Independence deriving its power through the consent of the governed, the history of our world is the story of this transition. With this transition, we have made it universally accepted that the torture or slaughter of humans is morally repugnant. We empathize with the cruelties of the Holocaust, the devastation of the Darfur Genocide, and the atrocities of the Bosnian War. We immediately denounce these incidents as horrifying and immoral, proclaiming that all people are equal regardless of their race or cultural identity....

NEW DELHI: Air travel cost from Delhi would go up from Tuesday next when higher user development fee (UDF) becomes effective for all domestic and international passengers while departing or arriving at the IGI Airport.
The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) had on April 25 decided to raise airport charges, including UDF, by a whopping 346% for two years, with airlines protesting the move and saying they and the passengers would have to face the brunt of the massive hike.
The AERAs decision has been accepted by the government and notified by the DGCA now, official sources said.
